Sam Burchfield
About
Raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina, Sam Burchfield grew up surrounded by the sounds of Appalachian folk, gospel, country, and southern soul — music that still runs deep through every note he plays. Now based in Jasper, Georgia, Burchfield channels those roots into songs that are honest, textured, and full of heart.
As VINYL MAG once put it, “Burchfield’s music is soulful. That is the perfect word for it. It doesn’t just describe his genre – it describes the heart of the artist himself.”
His latest album, Nature Speaks, captures that spirit with stripped-down grace — recorded in just five days in Athens, Georgia. Each track listens like a conversation with the land itself: reflective, rooted, and deeply human. From his early days performing in parking lots and coffee shops to his evolution as a father, songwriter, and storyteller, Burchfield’s journey has been one of rediscovery — a return to what’s real, steady, and true.
In the Room
When Sam Burchfield took the Tigre Island Room stage, the space transformed into a true listening room. The crowd fell silent, locked in from the very first note — every lyric, every guitar line hanging in the air like it belonged there.
It was an evening of pure connection: no chatter, no distractions, just soulful storytelling and a voice that carried straight to the heart. Moments like these remind us why we built this room in the first place.
Stay tuned to our upcoming shows list to catch Sam Burchfield’s return — it’s the kind of night you don’t want to miss twice.
