Welcome to the Room
A NEW EXPRESSION WITH OLD BONES
In a world overrun by copy-paste culture and commercial noise, Tigre Island Room offers something rare: a creative refuge rooted in history, built for the moment, and open to what’s next.
Named after a mysterious island whispered about in pirate lore—caught somewhere between the mainland marsh and Fernandina Beach—Tigre Island Room straddles the mythic and the modern. Our home is a landmark building designed in 1878 by French architect Anton “C.H.” Hout, once a dry goods store, now reborn as a music house with soul.
The bones are old—original yellow pine floors, towering brick arches, and cast iron storefronts still holding court. But the energy is electric. Sleek sound, immersive lighting, lush textures, and lounging nooks create a space where art, music, and conversation flourish. You might come for the show, but you’ll stay for the spell it casts.
More than a venue, Tigre Island Room is a gathering place. A meeting point for artists and art-lovers, wanderers and locals, seafarers and storytellers. We’re here for the music. The myth. The messy beauty of it all. If you’ve been looking for somewhere that feels like a secret and sounds like home—you’ve found it.
