Blair Crimmins and The Hookers
About
Blair Crimmins and the Hookers have carved out a unique place in the modern music scene by reviving the sounds of Ragtime and traditional New Orleans jazz for a new generation. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the band quickly rose to become one of the Southeast’s most exciting live acts, blending vintage style with modern energy.
Frontman Blair Crimmins—an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and Berklee-trained songwriter—switches effortlessly between piano, guitar, banjo, ukulele, and accordion. His smoky vocals lead a six-piece band anchored by a powerful horn section (trumpet, clarinet, trombone) that brings the spirit of early American jazz roaring back to life.
While their sound recalls a page out of American history, their original lyrics carry a sharp modern twist—telling the stories, struggles, and humor of an old soul living in the 21st century. The result is a stage show that’s part time machine, part dance party, and all heart.
In the Room
We loved having Blair Crimmins and the Hookers light up the Tigre Island Room with their one-of-a-kind blend of ragtime swagger, New Orleans jazz energy, and modern-day storytelling. Their set turned the room into a roaring celebration—horns blaring, feet stomping, and smiles all around.
It was the kind of night where history and modern life collided on stage, reminding everyone that great music never goes out of style. Keep an eye on our Upcoming Shows page for when they return to the room.
