Deslondes

About

Bringing their own brand of down-home, rootsy twang to the blues, The Deslondes are a band of rough-edged yet deeply tuneful troubadours. Though their story began in the Pacific Northwest, it was in New Orleans that they truly found their voice—shaping a laid-back but deeply committed sound that blends country, blues, rock & roll, and swamp pop into something warm, honest, and unmistakably their own.

Formed from a collective of songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, the band built its identity through collaboration, shared influences, and a love for American roots traditions. Their early albums—The Deslondes (2015) and Hurry Home (2017)—captured a loose, naturalistic approach, while later releases like Ways & Means (2022) and Roll It Out (2024) expanded their sonic palette without losing that easygoing, dusty charm.

The Deslondes’ music feels lived-in and human—songs that unfold with lyrical warmth, subtle grooves, and the kind of authenticity that can’t be rushed or manufactured.
