Cole Terry

About

Born in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Cole Terry grew up surrounded by the sounds and stories of the South. The son of a Southern Baptist pastor and a stay-at-home mom, his name was inspired by Cole Trickle, Tom Cruise’s character in Days of Thunder — with the hope that he’d one day be a NASCAR driver or a country music singer. By age six, Cole says the course of his life shifted when he was introduced to faith, a guiding force that continues to shape his music and his story.

Cole picked up his first guitar at 14 after moving to Amelia Island, quickly discovering a love for songwriting and performing. Within two years, he was already playing beach bar stages and honing his craft. By the time he turned 21, Cole had released 10 singles, all while pursuing a degree in Political Science at the University of Florida. During an internship in Washington, D.C. with Congressman Aaron Bean, Cole signed his first distribution deal with Sony Music–backed Santa Anna Records. With graduation set for August 2025, he’s preparing to make the move to Nashville to chase his dream — and God’s plan — full time.

In the Room

This show was more than a concert—it was a sendoff. When Cole Terry and the band took the Tigre Island Room stage, we gathered to celebrate the next chapter as Cole headed to Nashville to pursue his music career. The night was filled with gratitude, emotion, and songs that felt especially close to the heart.

What an honor it was to host this moment—sending Cole off surrounded by community, music, and so much love. Nashville is lucky. And this island will always be cheering him on.
