Ben Prestage

About

Taking the swamp everywhere—from Texas to Tangier to Tel Aviv—Ben Prestage is a musical force entirely his own. Known for crafting homemade instruments out of roasting pans, alligator heads, and even a closet door, Prestage channels the raw spirit of the Deep South into a sound that’s gritty, inventive, and unmistakably swamp-born.

His electrifying blend of blues, Americana, folk, and backwoods grit has taken him to premier festivals across the globe, where his one-man-band prowess and fearless creativity leave audiences stunned. Every performance is a wild ride through Delta blues, swamp stories, and pure Southern soul—delivered with unfiltered authenticity and the kind of musicality you can’t fake.

In the Room

When Ben Prestage came to the Tigre Island Room, the space transformed into a swamp-soaked blues revival. With homemade instruments at his feet and a growl in his voice, he delivered a raw, high-voltage set that had the room hanging on every note. It was gritty, emotional, and downright mesmerizing—a reminder that true blues doesn’t need polish to hit hard.

Stay tuned… something tells us the swamp may roll back onto the island again.
